La speed metal band canadese APHRODITE ha firmato un contratto con la Fighter Records per la pubblicazione del loro album di debutto “Lust and War”, previsto per il 9 luglio si CD e 12 “LP.
Gli APHRODITE si sono formati nella seconda metà del 2018. Jo Steel “Capitalicide” degli ICE WAR, ha scritto la musica mentre Heidi Stockdale ha scritto dei testi che parlano di mitologia greca. Yan Turbo dei COLORSFADE è poi entrato come lead guitar e dopo aver provato vari vocalist, la cilena Tanza Speed è stata finalmente scelta come frontwoman. In regime di autoproduzione è stato registrato “Lust and War” il quale ha portato alla firma con la Fighter Records.
Il sound della band soddisfa i fans dello speed metal anni ’80 con accenti punk, sulla falsariga di ACID, ZNÖWHITE, AGENT STEEL, S.D.I., VECTOM, ecc.
