Il progetto AN-THEOS nasce nella primavera del 2010 a Bucharest. La musica e i testi sono circa l’antico popolo dei Carpazi, lo stile della band è un epic- folk- metal .
Il 20 Aprile 2013 AN-THEOS ha rilasciato il primo maxi- singolo “Chemarea Strabunilor” (Call of the Ancients) , avendo come bonus 2 altre canzoni : “Bratul de fier” e “Semintia Daca” .
Il primo LP “Semintia Daca” uscirà in autunno 2015 .
La band ha tenuto concerti in Italia , Repubblica Ceca , Ungheria e Romania
Saranno gruppo headliner al Festival Folk & Metal di Malpaga (BG) giunto alla terza edizione e che vedrà anche headliner gli irlandesi Mael Mòrdha (31 luglio) e i Diabula Rasa (02 agosto).
Nel 2015,la band ha in programma importanti partecipazioni come “Malpaga Folk & Metal Festival” (Malpaga, Italy), “III. Carpathian Metal Feast” (Budapest, Hungary), “Artmania Festival” (Sibiu, Romania), “Folk & Metal Fest II” (Bucharest, Romania) e supporto europeo al tour dei Sonata Arctica e a Negura Bunget.
