Gli egittologi technical death metallers NILE sono orgogliosi di svelare che il loro nono album, “Vile Nilotic Rites”, verrà pubblicato il 1° novembre su Nuclear Blast. Oggi la band dà ai fan un assaggio del disco, svelando il primo singolo “Long Shadows Of Dread”:

Il mastermind Karl Sanders commenta: “Sono grato che sia arrivato finalmente il giorno in cui possiamo condividere con i fan il primo singolo da ‘Vile Nilotic Rites’. È la traccia di apertura del nuovo disco ed è un brano che ameremo moltissimo suonare dal vivo nei prossimi tour in Europa e USA. ‘Long Shadows’ è stata scelta perché non volevamo che ci fosse alcun dubbio sul fatto che ‘Vile Nilotic Rites’ sia pervaso da un evidente intento senza compromessi, brutale e distruttivo. Ringrazio i fan che hanno atteso pazientemente che lavorassimo senza sosta per rendere questo il miglior disco dei NILE da molti anni a questa parte”.

“Vile Nilotic Rites” è stato registrato e prodotto da Karl Sanders ai Serpent Headed Studios di Greenville, South Carolina, mentre la batteria è stata registrata agli Esoteron Music Studios di Atene, Grecia da Jim Touras e George Dovolos. Il mixaggio e la masterizzazione sono stati affidati a Mark Lewis ai MRL Studios. L’artwork è stato curato dall’artista Michał “Xaay” Loranc, che ha lavorato con la band per oltre dieci anni.
