I leggendari SAXON continuano a rivelare dettagli dell’album di cover “Inspirations”.
Il secondo singolo “Speed King, il classico brano dei Deep Purple, uscito nel 1970 su “Deep Purple In Rock”.
Biff Byford, spiegando l’importanza del brano, dichiara: “Senza ‘Speed King’ non ci sarebbe ‘Motorcycle Man’, Amo l’atteggiamento, l’energia e la velocità di questa canzone, senza manco citare quelle vocals urtale! Non l’avevo mai cantata prima, e mi sono divertito a farlo!”

’ is part of Saxon’s forthcoming 11-track Inspirations album, where in 2020 the band took residence at Brockfield Hall in York, UK, to record cover versions of various songs which deeply influenced the band, engaging in a proper old-school live and recording process which was a hallmark of many old-school rock ‘n’ roll records.
Inspirationswas produced by Biff Byford with Jacky Lehmann engineering and will be released through Silver Lining Music on March 19th2021.
